Singer-songwriter BeX has been attracting plaudits from some of the industry’s leading lights, and the latest TV breakthrough was being invited to perform her music on BBC radio, Sky TV and Vevo…. as well as making her Festival debut on the main-stage at the Wickham Festival, alongside the likes of KT Tunstall, 10CC, Seth Lakeman and the Levellers. With influences growing up listening to the likes of Eva Cassidy & Carole King, these artists really have inspired her creativity. BeX style brings the elements and qualities from some of her favorite artists P!nk, Sheryl Crow & Anastacia, and a country feel of the Dixie Chicks & Lady Antebellum, and with the essence of all these influences ‘BeX’ Creates her own unique and original sound as an artist/ songwriter in her own right. BeX expressive vocals, creative lyrics, catchy hooks and melodies appeal’s to a wide range of music lovers around the world.

After graduating from Stella Mann College of performing arts in London, BeX has worked and travelled all over the world as a professional Singer, Dancer & Actress working on various Theatre shows, TV & Radio appearances and performing at prestigious venues… including Her Majesty Theatre, The Grand Marquee at Tatton Park, The Playhouse Theatres, Bournemouth Pavilion, Abu Dhabi NEC, and more. Whilst on the road over the past several years BeX discovered songwriting was what she loved to do, and has built this journey in to her music and writing to become an artist in her own right and fulfilled her ambition to bring out her first debut album release called ‘Story So Far’.

BeX released her debut single TIME TO STOP THE RAIN. The single is a perfect high tempo Americana tinged pop tune and has made playlists in the UK, US & in Portugal at Antena 3 RTP, Kane FM, Radio Woking, HFM Radio, Bishop FM, Shoreditch Radio, Croydon Radio, Vale Radio, Surrey Hills Radio, Channel Radio, WCR FM, Vixen 101, SkyHigh Radio, Southside Radio, Express FM, Radio Wey, Riviera FM, Pheonix Radio, CMR Nashville, plus BBC support at BBC Radio Solent Introducing & BBC Radio Bristol where BeX has performed several live sets. Other features include: IOW Radio interview, Vectis Radio and live session, Yoppul online, Isle Of Wight County Press, Island Echo, Style Of Wight Magazine, and single recently being added to the playlist within major stores across Australia including: TAG Heuer, Virgin, Karen Millen, McDonalds, Le Cog Sportif to name a few, plus a Q&A feature in the latest July edition of the London ”Muswell Flyer/ N10 magazine” and a feature in the new Autumn edition of National Express major on board travel magazine called ‘The View’ to millions of readers.

BeX’s single ‘Time to Stop the Rain’ has joined the likes of REM, the Pet Shop Boys, Blondie and Paul McCartney on a new playlist celebrating the Isle of Wight. The single has has been added to ”Wightlink’s Sounds of Summer Spotify playlist” after topping a public vote in a competition run in partnership with the Isle of Wight County Press. The song received almost 500 of the near 700 votes cast for six original songs by IW artists.
The single ‘Time To Stop The Rain’ was also picked up by ‘Keep It Country TV’ Europe’s No.1 Country Channel and was aired Sarah Jory’s Hot Picks, Brit special played on Sky TV, Freeview and Virgin.

BeX follow up single RED FLAG – received great attention from the media – including hitting the airwaves on BBC Solent *BBC Introducing* & airwaves in Scotland with head of music ‘John Weller’ on Nevis radio & Rudie Hayes Country radio show ‘ The Horseshoe lounge music session’ on Vale Radio in Yorkshire. BeX was featured on the front cover in New York’s ALL MAGAZINE. The music video was filmed in London by David Brant (Vybrant Images) and was selected by VEVO to land a position on the VEVO COUNTRY PLAYLIST.

Currently BeX is collaborating with a wide range of Grammy  & Award- winning writers, artists and producers, who worked on her debut Album ”Story So Far” which is receiving great BBC Radio support, including BBC Introducing, BBC Solent & BBC Bristol and across stations in the US & Europe. BeX is building a diverse catalogue of songs for the future writing for various projects including; TV & Film and co-writing with music artists including: Country artist Lana Wolf in Holland for her new Album ”Fireflies in Nashville”- other collaborations include; Award Winning songwriter/producer ‘Alan Glass’ ( Aretha Franklin, George Benson, Earth Wind & Fire, Mis-Teeq) and working with renowned music producer ‘Greg Haver’ (Manic Street Preachers, Melanie C, Tom Jones) Grammy Winner ‘Amy Wadge’ ( Ed Sheeran, Kylie, Una Healy).

BeX performances include prestigious venues; The Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Troubadour, The Bedford, Bar Music Hall in Shoreditch for the Fashion Launch CRAZE & Regal Room London (Press on the night included: Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, The Guardian & The Times). BeX has had airplay in Portugal with Radio (RTP) , Sky TV, The BT Tower in London, BeX was invited to be the special guest music artist and also gave a Q&A session with TV presenter & Entrepreneur Saira Khan (ITV’s Money show & The Apprentice), performances at AD NEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) – for the King Of Dubai & VIP guests, and supporting Olly Murs in Scotland, Tatton Park Xmas show (30,000+ audience) and much more.

Recent performance’s include: ‘Cowes Week’ Sheperds Wharf Marina on the ‘BBC Introducing Solent Stage, and exclusive live acoustic appearance on-board Wightlink flagship vessel the ‘St Clare’ for the Isle Of Wight Festival goers & a full band performance on the 2nd mainstage at The Wickham Festival.

BeX took part in of a great cause dedicated to Mental Health Awareness & suicide prevention, called ‘Listen Up Britain’ The Official Top Ten’ music competition. BeX has made it into the 10 top songwriters with her song ‘Every Child Has A Voice’ out of 700 entries across the UK & Australia for the Songwriting competition, and performed the song live at the London Grand Final at the Camden Assembly venue.

BeX worked with renowned music producer ‘Greg Haver’ (Manic Street Preachers, Mel C) at Modern World Studios to record part of her debut Album, with prestigious engineer ‘Clint Murphy’ (50 Cent, Mel C) and musicians including, Nick Nasmyth on Keyboards (Manic Street Preachers, Mel C, Kylie, Tom Jones) Andy Taylor on Guitar ( Portishead, Nicky Wire – Manics) and Greg Haver on Drums & Percussion and mastered by Ryan Smith ( Beyonce, Bon Jovi, Erasure) in New York at Sterling Sound. BeX vocals have also been featured on European Artist ‘Peter Aristone’s debut album produced by Greg Haver at MWS, the Album features vocals from BeX, James Dean Bradfield (Manic St Preachers) and Melanie C.
